Movie Misdirection – Amazing Adventure

Movie Misdirection

This year instead of being a participant I have elected to be a ‘game master’. This is to say that I will be overseeing one of the games in this year’s Amazing Adventure at Randall Reilly. My game is called “Lights, Camera, Action”. The idea is to show the teams a clip from a popular movie. The thing is though, is that the very familiar music has been replaced with some other kind of music. Movie misdirection!

The team is to correctly identify the song and artist that SHOULD be in that particular movie clip. It’s almost impossible to do while the inserted music is playing.

The first run through while we were testing the games showed me that it is much harder than originally thought so I threw a couple of easy ones in.

While this list is pretty long, the teams will only guess at 10 of them.

Go ahead and give it a whirl.

So, it’s the day after. The event seemed to go pretty well. All teams did much better than our little earlier test, which was awesome. A handful of people asked for the videos, so here they are. Also, you can see the other videos that did not make the cut. There are a couple that have been nuked because of music copyright infringement issues. Oh well.
